Pullover Perfect!

The pullover is perfect! My first real knitting project, not counting scarves and hats. Last Winter it was a bit big for the Bean, but the bean is now a big boy and the pullover is keeping him snuggly warm. Mama is just a little bit proud!

And yes that black splodge on the little person's lip is a hole that's on the mend. Thursday night's circus performance in the loungeroom didn't go so smoothly and ended up in the emergency children's ward with a smashed in mouth, lips teeth and nose and blood covered parents. After 24 hours of not being able to breastfeed I thought it might be all over red rover. But no, all back to normal and solid food's a gogo again after nothing but soup and yoghurt. Plus the ressemblance to Rocky Balboa has dramatically lessened. Phew!

What a coincidence that you post about this jumper! I've just started knitting (I love it) and remembered that you posted about this jumper last year so it was next on my list of knitting projects. It looks great so I can't wait to get started (just need to finish the little man's first scarf). Hope you little fella is on the mend! poor lip.

Yikes the big falls sounds very dramatic. Glad everything's ok again. But that pullover is something else! You're so so amazing with the needles. Kellie xx

That is the perfect knit and it suits the little man so well. As for the lip- ouch. Most likely the first of many little battle scars. Last week we had a smashed nose and a grazed eyebrow. All in a day's work, I guess x

What a gorgeous pullover! Do you have details of where to find the pattern? Hope the little Balboa is recovering nicely. I am still amazed that we haven't had to dash to the hospital yet (touch wood), given Bas's stuntman tendencies.

But scars make a person so mysterious...

I'm impressed by both your knitting prowess and your little fella's stoic disposition in the face of injury!

Thank you for the postcards - they just arrived! And a big thank you for the extras, you're too kind <3 I've been busy writing away and am about to send them along on their next journey.
